We are a completely autonomous, non-profit organization comprised of volunteers from many diverse professional backgrounds.
We are funded by membership dues, donations, grants, and various fundraising events. The Saint Paul Civic Symphony has a commitment to provide audiences as well as orchestra members with concert programs which move beyond the standard classical repertoire. This is accomplished through collaboration with other performing arts organizations, commissioning of new works, solo performances by emerging young artists, and the regular inclusion of 20th century music in our programming. The Saint Paul Civic Symphony was established in 1946.
